# //Recruiting overview

What //Recruiting does and how the pieces fit together.

## The operational problem

Most operators keep hiring the same roles without a fast, consistent way to evaluate applicants. Constant backfill. Applications piling up. A hiring process that fragments across shifts. Fleet managers post jobs between routes. Site managers review applicants between shifts. The work stretches recruiters thin and slows time to hire.

## How Array HQ solves it

//Recruiting combines job posting distribution, SMS-based screening, and a candidate pipeline into one agent-assisted workflow. Applicants respond to screening questions over text. Screening results and interview scheduling are surfaced to recruiters in one place. Recruiters make every hiring decision.

## How it works

//Recruiting runs across four surfaces that compose into one motion:

- **[Jobs](jobs.md)** — Define what you're hiring for and where. Set the screening questions and target responses that the SMS Screening Agent uses.
- **[Candidates](candidates.md)** — People in your pipeline. Every applicant remains visible to the recruiter, with screening flags surfaced on the candidate record.
- **[Screening](screening.md)** — The SMS Screening Agent evaluates applicant responses against the target responses set by the recruiter. It flags responses for recruiter review. It does not auto-reject, hide, or filter applicants.
- **[Advertising](advertising.md)** — Job postings distributed across channels for each open job. The //Recruiting agent drafts ad copy; recruiters set the posting radius.

Recruiters mark hires in //Recruiting. Onboarding of new employees happens outside Array HQ today.

## What you'll be able to do

- Post a job and distribute across channels without assembling ads by hand.
- Screen applicants over SMS with tenant-configured questions that a recruiter approves before running.
- Review every applicant with screening flags surfaced, without applicants being auto-filtered out.
- Move applicants through pipeline stages with an audit trail on every transition.
- Send an interview scheduling link to an applicant over SMS through the scheduling agent.
